Do instant ice packs need to be frozen?
No. Instant ice packs are designed to be stored at room temperature and activated when needed, making them ideal for first aid kits, vehicles, sports bags and workplaces.
How do you activate an instant ice pack?
Follow the directions on the pack. Generally, you break the internal pouch, shake the pack to mix the contents, and it will begin cooling within seconds.
How long does an instant ice pack stay cold?
Cooling time can vary, but the Medi-Pak Instant Ice Pack is designed to provide cold therapy for around 20 minutes once activated.
Are instant ice packs reusable?

What are instant ice packs used for?
Instant ice packs are commonly used for minor sprains, strains, bumps and soft-tissue injuries where cold therapy is appropriate. They are particularly useful for sports, workplaces, schools, vehicles and first aid kits where a freezer may not be available.
